Information on International Conventions, Codes and other Instruments
This information concerns many aspects of international conventions and other instruments, which are brought together in one location for the first time. Please let us know whether there is additional information which would be helpful to you or if you can suggest better ways to present the information.
The information series presented are:
- Titles of conventions, protocols and amendments and the status in relation to their entry into force. Links are provided in the reference to each instrument identifying all states party to a particular instrument.
- IMO Member States
- Titles within all series of circulars issued by IMO since around 1960. Links are provided to titles of circulars within each series.
- Resolutions of the Assembly, Maritime Safety Committee, Marine Environment Protection Committee and Legal Committee. Titles only are given in the links.
- Names and addresses of competent authorities designated by countries as contact points for functions arising out of obligations under international instruments.
- IMO Model Courses
