The AMSA website username and password has been changed. You can e-mail me on International Relations or fill in the password form and I will send you out the new username and password. Proceedings of, and submissions to, IMO committees & sub-committeesThis information relates to the proceedings of, and submissions to, IMO committees sub-committees and other bodies. This information is made available to facilitate consultation with government and industry bodies on issues under consideration within the IMO and to assist in the development of the position to be taken by the Australian delegation to relevant IMO meetings. The basis of this information is the programme of meetings. References to specific meetings are linked to the agenda, which in turn are linked to the titles of submissions made by IMO member governments under each agenda item. Document titles are available in a searchable data base but the range of documents on this site is limited. The titles are available from 1994 onwards. If you have a legitimate interest in receiving documents or information, and your name, or that of your organisation, does not appear in the relevant consultation list(s) or if you wish to define or redefine your area(s) of interest, please register with International Relations. AMSA consults with a large number of Australian organisations and individuals. A consultation list is drawn up for each IMO meeting on the basis of indications of interest in particular areas. Agenda for meetings in which users have indicated an interest are then provided by mail and hard copy of documents provided by mail and hard copy of documents provided for issues where users have so requested. An independent system will be implemented later in 1998 by the IMO which will enable authorised organisations to access the text of documents directly. We would like to take advantage of the efficiencies offered by electronic facilities and communicate more by e-mail. Our present users are being consulted on these developments. In the meantime, if you are associated with an Australian organisation with an interest in IMO issues and documentation, you are invited to register, confirm or amend your interest in particular committees and sub-committees. We can then provide relevant information to you in the most convenient way. The form is also your application for a password to enable you to read the text of any documents linked to these pages. If your needs are met by the information in these pages and you do not require agenda to be sent, please let us know. |
